THE Andover community has been pulling together to help Age UK Andover and District make a success of their Open Day at Longstock Water Gardens on 17 August starting at 2pm.

There will be free return coach travel leaving from the front of the White Hart hotel at 1.45pm for those who might have difficulty making the journey to Longstock.

Local company, Stannah Lifts, has generously sponsored the coach travel to enable everyone to enjoy the gardens.

To ensure a place on the bus, and buy a ticket to the gardens, please contact the Age UK office on 01264 354424.

Seats are on a first come, first served basis and will not be available on the day.

Farleigh School are also providing a minibus which will travel between the Gardens and the Leckford cafe, shop and nursery throughout the afternoon – again to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to access everything which is on offer.

There will be a band playing, Jazz Inc, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at the cafe.

Age UK Andover and District really appreciate this generous help so that everyone can take full advantage of the occasion.
