LIVING on the other side of town my knowledge of the Weyhill Road is limited to driving along it a few times a week, however, I have followed the issue of a cycleway with interest.
Regarding the comment from Cllr Woodward that around one in four cyclists are using the footpath, that means the remaining three in four are riding correctly.
As it is an offence to ride on the pavement can we be told how many of the one in four have been spoken to by the police, how many fixed penalty notices issued and how many summons issued and the outcome of the court cases?
I wish Mr Turner well in his campaign against the cycleway.
