I AM writing to ask whether you will kindly allow me to say some thanks for those who helped on our collection day at ASDA on 23 August?
Firstly my thanks are due to ASDA and especially Yvonne Nicholson for allowing us to have the collection for the British Heart Foundation.
We raised £290 on our twohour morning allocation – a very good result.
Special thanks to all those who graced our collection tins and to Laurie Broadhurst who provided the good music and Gerald Dorman and my wife Dorothy, who assisted, with myself, on the overall collection.
Finally a big thank you again to all the ASDA customers for putting money in our tins.
