Villagers to be asked for views on speed limit
THE campaign by residents of Chilbolton to have a 20mph speed limit covering the village roads is progressing well.
The survey of current traffic speeds has been completed and the next step will be a public consultation.
The traffic management department of Hampshire County Council will be sending a letter to all homes in the village asking them for their opinion.
It is expected that the letters will be delivered from 3 October, 2014 (today).
