IN our popular new series the Andover Advertiser is publishing a “thank you” column featuring messages sent in by readers.
Whether you would like to show gratitude to a loved one or a complete stranger, this is the place to do it. Send messages to mike.simms@ andoveradvertiser.co.uk.
I WOULD like to thank the gentlemen who kept me conscious, picked me up and helped me into the Wimpy café when I tripped and fell face down in the Upper High Street on Monday, 2 March.
A young lady (Beck?) then took charge – phoned my wife and called an ambulance. Thanks also to Wimpy staff and apologies to them and their customers for the disruption. My thanks also to the two lady paramedics and the A&E nurse with a sense of humour.

THE president and members of Andover and District Lions Club would like to thank all publicans, club managers and companies in the Andover area who helped us raise funds for local good causes by giving us support with our Easter egg charity raffles this year.
