IN RESPONSE to Judy Fowler’s letter to the editor Friday 29th May, writing about my father, may I add the following thoughts: In 35 years of reading the letters to the editor’s page, wherever in the world I have been I don’t ever recall reading any letters from Judy Fowler of any interest.
I often read with interest Ian Carr’s letters outlining achievements he has made as our local leader. Does Judy Fowler consider this as self appraise?
I can’t really recall my father having a unique talent of ‘mangling the English language’ as she puts it.
She must have got my dad muddled up with me.
With this weekend’s exciting Grand Prix in the beautiful Canadian city of Montreal upon us once again, I say bon chance madame/ mademoiselle!
