ON BEHALF of Andover Town Band may I give a huge thank you to the people of Andover for their donations at the farmer’s market on July 18 and for all the very positive comments?
The sum of £297.73 was raised. It was great to see so many people enjoy the performance and support the band in their contribution to a very lively marketplace. Can I also praise all those who organised and marshalled such a fantastic carnival and again for all the enthusiastic comments we received as we marched by as part of the procession? The success of this event shows what a great place Andover can be and certainly knocks all the negative views people like to throw about.
If you would like to listen to the band again, our next concert is at 7pm on Saturday, October 31, performing at The Lights.
