IN our popular new series the Andover Advertiser is publishing a “thank you” column featuring messages sent in by readers.
Whether you would like to show gratitude to a loved one or a complete stranger, this is the place to do it. Send messages to mike.sims@ andoveradvertiser.co.uk.
I WOULD like to thank the two ladies who were having their lunch in Butters and the lady who called the ambulance on Thursday, 6th August, when my cousin tripped over an unlevelled drain at the top of the High Street.
One of them kindly came and got me from my work while her NHS friend attended to his wounds which were quite severe.
They stayed with us until the ambulance arrived and also assisted the paramedic. It is so nice in this day and age for people to be so caring.

THANK you to Mr Turner who took Valerie, Trevor and Laurie home when the bus we were on broke down in Vernham Dean.
It was very kind of him.
Trevor Smith, Pearman Drive, Andover
