Town is so ugly
I AM a 71-year-old Andoverian and would like to know when the authorities are going to stop taking the heart out of the town.
We have seen beautiful shops pulled down only to replace them with concrete. We have seen ugly estates built.
Only over the last few weeks there has been work at the top of the town and now they are taking down the lovely stone wall by the church, yet some more concrete I suppose. We had four department shops, three cinemas and a lovely high street. What do we have now– nothing.
