IN our phenomenally popular series... the Andover Advertiser is publishing a “thank you” column featuring messages sent in by readers.

Whether you would like to show gratitude to a loved one or a complete stranger, this is the place to do it. Send messages to mike.sims@ andoveradvertiser.co.uk.

WE WOULD like to say a big thank you to the kind person who handed into the police station my daughter’s iPod which she dropped from her wheelchair on her way to visit us.

Her music means a lot to her and she was very upset. So we were over the moon, it was found by a very thoughtful person, we thank you.

Mrs Merryweather, West Portway, Andover

AT THE Red Cross we rely on the generosity of the people of the UK for the money we need to carry out our vital work at home and abroad – and, once again, the people of Andover and Stockbridge didn’t disappoint us, helping to raise £126.02 during Red Cross Week 2015.

We would like to thank each and every person who donated money or time to help us raise much-needed funds.

Pauline Gibson, Red Cross fundraising manager for Hampshire
