ANDOVER High Street filled to capacity as far as the eye could see. With a population of more than 40,000 it seemed as if everyone was there on Friday evening.
The switching on of Andover Lights was a truly memorable spectacle and shows yet again how well we all pull together to put on magnificent displays such as this.
Very well done to absolutely everyone that came along, to support this, and in particular to all the parents who will have helped make wonderful memories for their children.
Grateful thanks to all those involved, and their contributions quietly done, in the backgrounds and in the cold, so that we the public could enjoy it all.
I would also like to thank everyone that was involved in the clearing up afterwards, for the Saturday morning shoppers.
