'ANDOVER remembers the First World War’ by Craig Fisher is a very interesting series of articles.
I have added the details of Leonard Gilson (Advertiser, January 29) to the Imperial War Museum database on Lives of World War One. The IWM invite anyone who has factual evidence and photographs to add them to the database. It is easy and free to sign up and contribute. It is especially useful if you have old family photos of people who served and fought in WW1 to upload them onto this database, so they are not forgotten by future generations.
The database can be found at livesofthefirstworldwar.org.
