I WAS just wondering what everyone had for Easter lunch?
It is traditional to eat lamb so why was it near impossible to buy any British lamb in Andover supermarkets when there is an abundance of it in the UK?
New Zealand lamb has not only travelled thousands of miles but it is not produced or slaughtered in a way that many might approve of.
As we are charged 5p for a plastic bag I wonder what supermarkets are doing to justify their carbon footprint caused by importing NZ lamb?
I would urge everyone to support British farmers – buy the best, buy British.
