HAVING read the comments regarding the changes to the Lidl car park, I really cannot understand the fuss.

As a regular customer of Lidl, I found that recently it had become more and more difficult to find a parking space.

As Lidl own the car park, it stands to reason that if they want to increase the opportunity of their customers to find a parking space, the changes make perfect sense.

It is no different to the parking rules at Sainsbury’s or Tesco (apart from the time allowed).

I do concede that they could have made it clearer when the new rules came into force and I hope they will exercise some discretion to those who were ticketed in the first few weeks, given the limited signage.

Simple signs at the pedestrian exits to warn users could have saved so much aggravation.
