I recall Diana
THERE was recently a letter in the Andover Advertiser recalling Diana Dors, from Ian Payne, 8, Thornbury Road, Walsall WS2 8JL asking for information.
I was born in Andover in 1932 and have lived in or around Andover all my life. During WW2, I was a pupil at the Andover Grammar School. The US forces stationed in the area arranged a radio quiz for local schoolchildren which was presented in the Guildhall and I took part.
They brought with them Diana Fluck (Diana Dors) to be with them for the radio programme.
