I AM writing to nominate someone for the good deed feed feature in the letters column of your newspaper.
I work at the Tesco Extra store in River Way as a cashier.
On Thursday, January 19 I served a customer who was fully laden with lots of heavy bags as well as a child in a buggy.
When I asked her to pay her bill she found that she had left all of her money and cards at home and asked me to store her transaction, so as she could pick it up later in the day.
On seeing the lady’s dilemma the gentleman waiting behind her duly stepped forward and kindly offered to pay the customer’s bill of £11.70.
This incident really made her day and reiterated to all of us that there are still a great many kind-hearted and good people still around in the world.
