ME, my wife and two children aged two and three moved to Andover in the middle of January.
Following our initial interactions with the people of Andover we were impressed with how friendly and helpful they had been. Two incidents in the last two days has changed our initial thoughts.
Today and yesterday my wife was pushing our son in the pushchair, after dropping off our daughter at preschool when she and our son were soaked by cars going through puddles. Despite being under the rain cover my son got wet through his coat. Today’s driver was as close to the pavement as they could be, making my wife believe this was intentional.
I know the actions of two people shouldn’t prejudice our opinions of all of the people of Andover, which it hasn’t, but the initial warm feeling we had is gone.
