I REGRET having read that the Andover Advertiser’s ‘Keep it Andover’ campaign was blighted by a fracas in the High Street by councillors who decided to settle their differences with their fists.
These and other councillors are the same ones that has brought the High Street and Chantry Centre to its knees over the years.
So how can we expect these councillors to breathe new life into the area?
I would like to add that I have been visiting Andover since I was a member of the Odeon Club in the 1950s and have witnessed many changes.
If it were not for Waitrose, Boots and Marks and Spencer then there would be nothing.
