THE newest roundabout in Andover has been named 100 acres roundabout since its construction, specifically built for the vast amount of HGV both entering and leaving the mighty Co-op Storage and Distribution centre.
There have been several accidents and near misses on this roundabout simply caused by the confusion of both the lanes and directional arrows in those lanes being incorrect, causing confusion to strangers who visit this area, and both the lanes and directional arrows for those lanes have now been obliterated by both the weather and tyres of the hundreds of vehicles which use this each day.
Approaching the junction to Andover on the A303 South West, I was surprised to see the attached sign partially hidden in the hedgerow which causes more confusion to the drivers as it is not placed on a post which should provide a clear view.
