RE: the article in Andover Advertiser of 5 January that Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust collected more than £1.25 million in parking fees from people visiting sick and dying people in hospitals, having illnesses diagnosed there or others using their car parks, says a lot!
Lovely local news was Jill Bentall and the usual successful Christmas Day lunch provided for the people of Andover who would otherwise have been on their own on Christmas Day. It was a shame that health and safety regulations stopped the usual delivery of hot Christmas Day lunches to those people who could not attend the function for one reason or another, as they had been able to do in previous years.
And lastly, Easter eggs are on sale!
