REGARDING your story last week [page 2, ‘Anger as raw sewage floods housing estate’].

We have lived here for quite a few years. We have nicknamed Picket Twenty The Lake District when it rains and it does not have to rain that much for it to flood.

They have put speed humps at the bottom of an incline and not necessarily put drainage in. Surprise, surprise, the road is flooded and don’t get me started on the other roads.

Most roads are flooded when it rains. and that’s the so-called good roads that are finished.

For some strange reason the developer has decided not to finish of a lot of the roads on this site, so there are lumps and bumps everywhere and of course, deep puddles when it rains.

God knows why people are buying here, especially after years of complaints about, not only the roads but of the quality of the houses being built.
