IT WAS the evening of Friday, 4 May.

The clock was striking nine when suddenly there was a huge tumultuous boom that shook the foundations of at least three properties. But what was it? Where did it come from? It left everyone in the area extremely mystified.

At the time there were three young girls strolling along the pavement and we, initially looking out the front window after hearing the bang, saw all three take off in a sprint and looking very frightened. Fear in their eyes.

After about 50 yards they all stopped and whilst supporting each other, looked back.

They were obviously aware that a possible supernatural occurrence had manifested itself and caused much emotional turmoil amongst the threesome.

Leaving the house and investigating further we discover that several of the neighbours were already outside and in wonderment as well as ourselves. What, indeed, had happened that left we mere mortals really puzzled? We all peered up at the clear, blue evening sky in search of an answer to this end of day enigma.

If there are ‘ETs’ out there among the 41,575 readership that can shed any light on this strangely eerie phenomenon then I suggest readers write-in to the Andover Advertiser.
