THE dream turned blue.

To all of those who didn’t know, we sadly lost a local Andoverian and our dear friend and cousin Russell Tarrant.

He was a talented artist, poet and author and as we know he loved to write! He spoke his mind for the things that mattered and what rightfully belonged in the Andover town.

Not everyone understood him, but he always got his point across. I can remember him always sitting on the old jubilee bench, alongside the Guildhall. Unfortunately, the bench isn’t there anymore which he tried to protest to keep.

It seems to be the things that used to matter the most are now gone in this town, but us local people won’t forget, and we won’t forget about Russell.

Always in our memories.
