I WOULD like to contact the relatives of the late Flight Sergeant Arthur Edward Blackwell.

He was killed in action while on a mission to Essen, Germany on 5 March, 1943.

His Halifax Mk.II — HR687 was shot down over Holland and crashed near Rouveen, in The Netherlands.

Altogether three crew members were killed and are buried in Rouveen cemetery. Five members did survive and were taken POW.

His name is on the Andover War Memorial.
