I AM writing on behalf of Wessex Cancer Trust to thank the people of Andover for their generosity.
During the switching on of the Christmas lights in the town centre, residents and visitors to the town kindly donated their spare change, helping us raise £72.02.
It was a great evening and I’m sure it helped us all get in the mood for Christmas, with festive lights and fantastic fireworks.
Wessex Cancer Trust works in local communities supporting people whose lives have been affected by cancer, whether they need emotional, practical or financial help.
Every penny we raise stays in the community and will be used to support cancer patients, families and carers.
We understand that these are difficult times and everyone is feeling the pinch, so if you donated to Wessex Cancer Trust, your generosity is helping to change lives.
Thank you.
Alison Osborne On behalf of Wessex Cancer Trust
