Ex-service association needs you!

First published in Letters

THE Andover and Winchester branch of the Royal Engineers Association would appreciate your support.

In line with other regimental associations, it promotes comradeship, tends to the welfare of its members and supports our serving soldiers.

The branch meets ten times a year in the Warrant Officers and Sergeants’ Mess of 22/26 Engineer Regiment at Perham Down.

It regularly invites military and civilian presenters to speak at its meetings and arranges visits to places of interest. The main social function of the year is the Christmas dinner and draw, which is usually held in the Andover Masonic Centre. It also has a thriving dining club.

Membership is open to all those who have served in the Royal Engineers; associate membership is also available to those who have served in other branches of HM forces but have no local branch of their Regimental Association.

Please come and join us and enjoy the comradeship that ex-service associations provide.

Nick Winder, Branch President Andover 362385
