I AM writing to say what wonderful kindness I received when I took a nasty fall after tripping over an uneven paving slab outside the Nail Bar in Bridge Street.
From what seemed out of nowhere lovely people came to help me and stayed with me until a paramedic came. A kind lady found my husband in the Halifax Building Society, another lady brought some towels from A Cut Above Hairdressers and another lady brought a warm coat to cover me from Naomi House Charity Shop.
The paramedic came within five minutes.
Although I was very badly shaken and bruised no bones were broken.
Beware dear readers, there are loose paving slabs and the one I fell over has been reported.
