AS AN Andover resident and motorist, I have seen that the price of fuel in Andover is higher than the surrounding towns and villages, surely I am not the only person who has noticed this?
I see that Tesco has recently put its price up to 142.9p for a litre of diesel.
I filled up when in Swindon earlier this week and paid 137.9p per litre, the same as in Southampton and Eastleigh.
Even Marlborough is cheaper than Andover.
Maybe it is about time that Andover motorists boycotted the fuel stations in Andover and bought their fuel when they are in another town?
I think this would force the Andover fuel stations to become competitive with the surrounding area.
