A tribute to Troggs frontman Reg

First published in Letters

I WAS so sorry to hear of Reg Presley passing away.

The sixties and seventies was my era and what an exciting time it was.

Whenever I hear of one of the rock giants leaving us, it feels like a little piece of me has gone too.

I was a fan of the Troggs and loved the song Wild Thing, and like Reg I was interested in the crop circles and met with Colin Andrews and Pat Delgado when they did their venues in the Hampshire area.

Those Andoverians that were around when Reg was top of his league were proud to live in the same location as he. God Bless you Reg, have a good rest and we’ll catch you on the flip side.
