I WOULD like to add to last week’s letter “So many problems to sort out”, especially concerning the updating to the bus station, involving an outrageous waste of finance and one year of disruption.
We have a bus service that “goes nowhere”. There are no buses going into the hospital directly.
No buses go to Asda, Sainsbury’s, Range, Homebase or the retail park.
No buses go to council offices. Getting to Winchester our county city and main hospital is a farce!
Not everyone has a car; there are so many of us, usually elderly who find it impossible to use these facilities, or find it very difficult in doing so.
I’m sure there are many more ways to spend this budget to the benefit of locals and bring back life to Andover.
