Stop moans, honour pledges
2:26pm Thursday 12th September 2013 in Letters
I FEEL the needto write in, after last week’s letter from Cllr Tony Hooke, plus others, asking for the resignation of Cllr Carr.
My reply is quite simple: instead of writing letters to the local paper, having a tit for tat argument, actually do some of the things promised to the people of this town.
Instead of just being typical politicians – sit in their office, write letters and blame each other, whilst the town still continues to struggle on with fewer shops, higher parking charges and higher rates.
I will admit not all councillors are like this, some do actually help people.
To those few I salute you, to the others, resign and return to the general public ranks. If you can’t do anything other than moan about your fellow councillors, why bother, does it solve anything?
