ON behalf of The Rotary Club of Andover I write to thank the local community for responding so well yet again to our appeal for Shelterbox aid following a disaster.
Thanks to the response at recent collections at Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, together with other donations, we have been able to buy another six Shelterboxes, each costing £590.
They are designed to sustain up to ten people, sometimes for many months, most of whom have lost everything.
A sincere Rotary thank you to all who contributed.
