We're not convinced

YET again an individual in public office has made a sweeping generalisation (Advertiser, Friday, 17 January).

Hampshire’s Chief Constable would have us believe that body worn video cameras ‘build trust with the public’ as well as being something ‘ the public continues to support’. Really?

Not one of my acquaintances has voiced such sentiments, let alone brought the subject up in any conversation.

One thing is for certain, however, when pronouncements promoting the agendas of those making them are sufficiently repeated, they then start to be believed.
