CHARLIE’S Day – a family
fun day at The Swallow,
Andover – was held on
Saturday in aid of Tiny
Tickers (babies’ heart charity)
in memory of Charlie
Fisher, my great-granddaughter,
who sadly died from congenital
heart disease at just
one year old.

The event was a great success
thanks to all who came
along and joined in the fun.

On behalf of us 4 toons, who
played there and did the children’s
disco, may I take this
opportunity to thank
Charlotte Knapp – the brilliant
facepainter; Birthday
Buddies – for Hello Kitty,
Raphael and Peppa Pig characters
(ideal for children’s
parties, fetes, etc.); Rebecca
Leigh Photography for the
photo booth; Donna Nunn
for use of the Cadillac; FL
Dance; Jiggy Wrigglers, the
stallholders – and not forgetting
my fellow toons!

Special thanks goes to my
daughter-in-law Jane Fowler
and all my family for their
hard work and to The
Swallow for hosting the
event and providing a BBQ.

The result of the fundraising
will be announced soon.
