I WOULD like to bring to the public’s attention the brilliant work, being carried out, all through the night, by the night-time staff, on the lower ground floor of the Andover Nursing Home.
In particular I would like to highly commend the sister on duty, Lisa, along with the other staff who show such dedication compassion and empathy. I first encountered this with Cassie and then Helga too.
Debby the receptionist is the perfect first point of call at the home too.
In world driven by targets and financial restrictions, I was incredibly moved this morning to find that Lisa, the night-time sister on duty, carried on despite the sudden staff shortage, yet was as engaging as always to me at 6am today.
Andover Nursing Home, you are a credit to our community. I have been humbled by the selfless acts that you all do over and above the call of duty.
