I RECENTLY had need of the sterling services of the staff at Andover Memorial Hospital and would particularly like to mention the porters for their cheery conversation in getting me to the various departments in a timely manner.

Three thoughts occurred to me afterwards.

Are there plans to move the X-ray department closer to the rest of the hospital? Currently this department is down a long steep slope.

If not, will motorised wheelchairs be provided to move those larger patients so that it is not the porters who bear the strain?

Finally, as a back pain sufferer, do the speed bumps on the road up to reception really need to be so severe?
