ONCE again I see Mr Keenan speaks as a cheerleader for fracking.

Clearly he hasn’t seen the figure of 80 per cent opposed, which means that simply cannot equate to the left only but many of the right and all concerned with the countryside rally to the ‘no fracking’ banner.

Sir, a very subtle twist has begun where even the Tory high command can now see what a PR and political disaster this fracking industry support will provoke — rowing back like crazy from the South Down sites — but alas too late — the damage has been done to the Conservative story of preserving the green belt and opposing development. They don’t.
