JDRF – the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for Children with Type 1 Diabetes – is holding a fun run at Charlton Lakes on Sunday starting at 11am (near the athletics track end).

The cost of taking part is £5 per person payable at Just Giving – Big Blue Fun Run or why not just turn up with a fiver?

The Big Blue Fun Run is either one lap (1.5 miles/2.5k) or two laps (3 miles/5k) of the Charlton Lakes The event is already well supported and is sponsored by First Aid and Security company VM Langfords and Reasons Fitness Ltd, who will be providing a fun warm-up session and a massage after, as well as a free seven-day gym trial.

The fun run is on fields and paths so is ideal for families, friends and children. Dogs are welcome, too.

Please wear something BLUE to show your support for Diabetes.

Please show your support by turning up and enjoying a great walk around our local park and raising money for over 40 children with type 1 Diabetes in Andover.
