I WAS so amazed and sorry for residents living off Floral Way after reading the letters page last week.
I built this lovely situated close in 1970 mostly with my own bare hands from start to finish and like others in and around Andover I’m very proud of it.
The parking bay in this close was designed for the homeowners, their visitors and daily calling service personnel. The only stipulation was no caravans.
Although the road and pavements there are the responsibility of the council it was never ever designed to be the way such has been described today.
Perhaps, after being highlighted in our local newspaper, those responsible for such mindless emptyhead decisions, have the courage to explain why the homeowners, who pay and keep such looking nice, are suffering so at the hands of so-called elected persons.
