LAST Friday, just outside Wilkinson, I had a violent nosebleed.
Embarrassed and lacking in tissues I stopped with my hubby to try and stem the flow!
A kind gentleman stopped and gave me tissues before a simply wonderful young lady gave me more tissues, held my nose and advised how to stop the bleeding whilst calming me down.
It turned out that she is a nurse at Tidworth Garrison – how lucky I am that she came to my aid.
I was then seen at our small but efficient and friendly A&E department, where the bleeding eventually stopped.
So please may I take this opportunity to thank all those lovely people who came to my aid today in this caring town.
