A PROPOSED change in the law of trespass is currently going through Parliament.

This would allow energy firms to drill and inject steam under your house without your permission to extract shale gas by fracking.

This could initiate or aggravate subsidence, which is quite common in the Test Valley.

House insurance against subsidence might be invalidated or withdrawn. Time for protest is running out.

I would urge readers to contact their MP without delay to express their views without delay.
