IN our popular new series the Andover Advertiser is publishing a “thank you” column featuring messages sent in by readers.
Whether you would like to show gratitude to a loved one or a complete stranger, this is the place to do it.
Send your messages to mike.sims@andover advertiser.co.uk and include your name and the name of the person you wish to thank.
I WOULD like to thank Craig Fisher for the amount of time and effort he has put into his First World War column in the Advertiser.
I have researched my own grandfather's service in that war and I know the amount of work it involves just to do that let alone discover all the family details he has so painstakingly achieved.
It is very commendable that the Advertiser should run this series because it makes us think of each individual on the War Memorial as a person with a family – not just a name and not forgotten.
Patricia Adams, of Dauntsey Lane, Weyhill
