In Shipton Bellinger we have recycle bins just as other places have, but they are being abused.
It's totally unacceptable that all too often the bins are not emptied and hoards of glass are being placed beside or in front of the bins.
This is a hazard to small children that have access to Sam's car park, and it's so close to the recreation ground. People that live in the bungalows are vulnerable as children could smash the glass and also they could begin to drink the dregs from the bottles.
Our children and the elderly need protection from uncaring people, and also some parents are placing these bottles there, and if their children get hurt they will be the first to complain and sue the council. If the bottle bank is full take the glass elsewhere don't leave it outside of the bins, we all have a duty of care to keep our village clean and tidy. Your help will be much appreciated.
