WITH reference to the article about Andover market in last week’s paper, I don’t believe all of the stalls constitute a “greasy market”, as the article portrays.
I’m sure it is only a minority, in which case this needs to be addressed.
The same with any mess: aren’t there rules the market traders should follow?
I think a market does enhance the atmosphere in a town and if the stalls that create a market are providing a service that is beneficial to a town then it should remain.
