AS AN early morning motorist, I’m usually on the road by 5.30am.
I am amazed at the number of people who insist on riding push-bikes on the roads without lights or any kind of reflective clothing. I narrowly missed a chap this morning because I didn’t see him until I was almost on top of him. Luckily I managed to avoid catastrophe this time.
If you are reading this then I apologise profusely, but be aware.
It is your responsibility to make yourself visible. Simply fitting lights isn’t enough.
Wear something reflective too.
Sitting here writing this, I feel awful.
