MIGHT I have some space to praise the staff at Shipton Primary school and all of the children.

We elders were invited to have tea with the children and to look at their work.

I’m astounded by the talent of all of the children and they are very clued up on the computers and I stood fascinated as they cleverly played games.

The thing that I love the most is how confident and happy that they all seem, the whole school is filled with such a brightness.

The children were amazed when I informed them that my five brothers, my sister and I attended that school and also my two sons. There were only three classrooms then and now there are seven. Another thing that stands out is how clean and orderly everything is thanks to Derrick and Rosemary Stubbs. Many thanks to the acting head teacher.

She does a grand job.
