I AM worried about the government’s lack of compromise, and in particular Jeremy Hunt’s stubbornness to stop the junior doctors strike.
Jeremy Hunt seems determined to ruin our National Health Service.
All its staff are dedicated people, trying to deliver the best service they can, under difficult circumstances.
I really do take my hat off to them.
Why can’t Jeremy Hunt take his head out of the sand, get back to the negotiating table, and sort it out?
I am worried about Andover Hospital, as well as every hospital in the country, about my friends, family, and myself, who are, or might be, at any time, patients needing vital emergency treatment.
I think my MP should push for fresh negotiations to stop the junior doctors strike as our government representative.
George Bailey, Red Post Lane, Weyhill.
Andover Editor’s note: Mr Bailey’s letter was put to MP Kit Malthouse’s office, who had not supplied a response as we went to press.
