I SHOULD like to advise your readers that the 2016 Test Valley in Bloom competition is under way.
The competition is open to residents, businesses and groups in Test Valley Borough and with categories ranging from hanging baskets to schools, allotments to community housing, there is opportunity for all to show off their horticultural skills and join the In Bloom group in its aim of promoting a brighter Test Valley.
Entry to the free competition is quick and easy via our web page at www.testvalley.
gov.uk/testvalleyinbloom.
Entry forms may also be found at many points throughout the Borough or from the group chairman, Roy Williams, on 02380 733619.
The closing date is Friday, 8 July and judging will take place from then until early August.
Principal prizewinners will be invited to receive their awards from the Mayor of Test Valley at a special ceremony in October.
