IN YOUR front page story of 3 February, I see that Cllr Ian Carr proclaimed Cllr Tony Hooke winner of the ‘The Biggest ****hole in Andover’ at the ‘Keep it Andover’ event in the High Street.
I have a few questions. Is this an annual award and is it sponsored by TVBC or HCC? Also, I received no prior notice of the poll nor did I receive my polling card.
Does anyone know the other contenders and who were the runners up? If it is going to be an annual award, can I also suggest a better title would be ‘Snide of Andover’ as a play on ‘Pride of Andover’?
This would have the added advantage that it could be printed in a family newspaper in full.
