A WHILE ago there was a degree of correspondence in the letters pages with regards to ‘glitches’ in the Post Office’s letters delivery (to private addresses).

The latest variant of this manifested itself over the week of March 13 to 17 when the ‘lower’ Artists Way area had a normal letter delivery whilst the ‘upper’ zone had no letter delivery at all for five days (normal delivery to Constable Court, Hepworth / Moore Close).

The ‘missing’ five days’ letters were delivered ‘en bloc’ mid-morning here on March 18. A Saturday am letters delivery is unusual here, and doubly unusual was the second delivery that day as well at about 2pm.

If the Post Offices wishes to poke holes in the Genius Book of Records maybe they should inform the stampbuying public in advance as at least two of the sackful of letters arriving through this letterbox were a week late.
